Tony_Lewis: What happens if I haven’t gotten this update? I’ve restarted Steam, and even tried uninstalling and reinstalling VRChat, but I didn’t get the update - cause for me, the avatar pedestals were working absolutely fine. I didn’t notice any bug when it was going on. I would’ve known if there was an update too, cause I always have my updates set to “Always keep this game updated”.
But because of this, none of my friends avatars load, they give me the error robot avatar. All of the avatars I have saved load fine, except for theirs. Yes, some of the their avatars will load. But any newer ones will simply not load at all. One of them say that this update somehow glitched for me cause I wasn’t experiencing the avatar pedestal glitch.

sakurabloomz: If it not solve with latest update, it more likely other bug you encounter. you better check output log to see what's actually going on.

can also confirm this is an issue, interacting with a ped that has failed to load also results in log spam with the following error
