Avatar Imposter generation duplicates constrained objects

When an object (such as a sword on a hip) is constrained to its default location, when generating the imposter and viewing the final result, it seems to have jittered around the constraint in such a way that the object is impossibly positioned on/around the avatar in many places at once.
In the two examples below, both avatars have the object by default positioned on the hip using a constraint, but the constraint can also toggle into the hand as an activating toggle in menu or using colliders.
HOWEVER in the generated imposters for them both, the objects are duplicated all over the body (almost looking like they've been impaled a bunch) in places that shouldn't even be possible with either (hand or hip location) constraint.
(hand and hip constraint are on 1 constraint component, switching the weight to turn one on and one off. Idk if its related, but just encase its related).
(as an extra: The scarf curling up on the imposter too; my scarf has a floor collider that uses a ray cast to emit to the floor, so I'm guessing the scarf is curled as the ray cast doesn't work when it generates the imposter, and thus puts the floor collider on the bone the ray is attached to and so curls up the scarf?? Funny how the raycast doesn't work when generating, but colliders do if this is the cause- )
