Audio still desyncs on video players, nothing has changed.

Watched an hour long youtube video last night, and the audio desynced at the same rate it usually does. By about 40 minutes in there was at least a second of audio delay using the VRC_SyncVideoPlayer. Have not tried with VRC_SyncVideoStream yet but I'm going to assume it still desyncs as well. This was done on a map that was re-uploaded using the Unity 2017 version.
The audio desync was one of the big headlining features that this patch was supposed to fix and it doesn't fix it at all. It's not like it's even slightly better now or anything, it is exactly the same pre-patch as it is post-patch.

We tested pretty heavily in Closed and Open Beta, as well as a few times in Live so far. One instance played several hour-long videos with zero desync, or pretty close.
I'll add that if you are still getting it, one second of delay after 40 minutes is far, far better than the 5-10 seconds of delay we got in 5.6 after 5-10 minutes.
The bug was an issue on Unity's side, so if its continuing, that may be something that needs to be sought out with Unity. Can you reliably reproduce, and can you reliably reproduce in different worlds?

Tupper - VRChat Head of Community: Yes, I've already been able to reproduce it tonight, same delay as we always get watching videos. Will try on a different map if I get the chance tomorrow.

Tried it on a different map by myself and it still has desync at the same rate as pre-patch. Zero difference.

Tupper - VRChat Head of Community: I’ve had the same issue, was watching a video in 2017 using the sync stream player and it noticeably de-synced every 5-10 minutes.

Casuallynoted Kizzy Try a VRC_SyncVideoPlayer instead. AVPro (the component we use for SyncVideoStream) may have it's own bugs.

Tupper - VRChat Head of Community: Have been using SyncVideoPlayer the entire time. Switched over to SyncVideoStream and as Casuallynoted casually noted, there was a very noticable desync within 10 minutes. This happened when I used syncvideostream before the patch though, so again it appears that nothing has changed.

Tupper - VRChat Head of Community: I'm experiencing the same amount of delay as before the Unity 2017 update. Nothing has changed there. It wasn't 5 sec delay after 5 minutes before the update either.
