About inverting the saved image when taking a selfie with the camera

When the camera is used in selfie mode, the captured image is saved with the left and right sides reversed. (When the camera is pointed at you by changing the lens orientation in the upper left corner)
Normally, the avatar in the attached image has a yellow left eye, but it is inverted and has a right eye.

Can confirm they're still reversed as of the 28th of July, forcing me to flip them in editing. I discovered that when sending images through Invite requests, the request will have it in the CORRECT orientation but it saves flipped the wrong way. Imgur link for context -> https://imgur.com/a/iw9J5SP

If this camera issue won't be fixed like before an update, Please Enable to Check the Pictures Immediately When It is Taken in VRChat Like Most Smartphone Camera App Does.
This is big issue because flipped pictures are only ascertainable when you shut down VRChat, turn off VR mode, and open the folder.

The specification was unclear about whether the picture was flipped. It would be better to display the flip status.

At the very least, there should be a warning that the output and storage will be inverted left to right.
If it were a photograph, it would not be difficult to invert it, but if it were a video, it would not be an easy problem to solve.

you are wrong, i fixed it already.

The VRChat 2025.2.3 (Build 1664) fixed the flip button. So the mirrored image on the viewfinder is intentional.
However, it saves the flipped image as is. I believe this is not the typical behavior of usual (or IRL) phone camera apps. It should be revised.

Fixed images not being flipped when taking pictures with the camera after clicking the Flip button. The Flip button should now also show an alternate icon if the camera Anchor isn't set to Default, in order to better highlight that the Flip button behaves differently based on the set Anchor.

I noticed that the current implementation is more complicated. In VR mode, we can physically flip the camera display plate (or finder), and each side of it always shows a flipped image compared to the other. And there are no indicators for both the flipped mode state (normal or flipped) and the plate's side (which is the front or the back).
All in all, these easily confuse users. Although I don't know what the best specification is, we need these indicators.
