Foran: yeah, i agree. Theres about 30MBs of reg files or something utterly stupid in the RegEdit Application. Its over 400 entries!
Fix this too while your at it since it might actually be easier to make a fucking folder or ONE FILE.🤣🤣🤣

FriendsPerLocation
keys from my registry, my social menu boosted back up to normal and is useable again.Kluele
It seems that the cause and troubleshooting for this bug have been found.
Troubleshoot 1:
Clear Local Profile Data in Debug menu
Troubleshoot 2:
Delete "FriendsPerLocation.~~ key" in Windows Registry \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\VRChat\VRChat
and Reboot Windows

I too get VRChat stuck when I open a friend location and can't operate it for a while.
It is inconvenient and very troubling.

This drop of performance is really serious.
If you have almost 6000 friends, you can't even scroll.
This issue also occurs when a player in an same instance is selected directly with the cursor and show their details.
This is because that social page is interrupt when displaying the user's details.

There is problem in one of the lists. It's list where you can see Friends in which worlds. It's nice feature and it sum everything up, makes easier to join friends.
But there is problem. Compared to other lists, this list is extremely heavy, got big framedrop to 12 fps, and game feels laggy with this list. It's clearly not good, because other lists are fine, website version is fine, but ingame... is so bad.
It has even some risk it can crash VRChat. If you're in busy world, your fps drop will even more lower!
Please, try optimize this list. I use it a lot to find friends, but it's not nice to scroll it with huge lagspikes.
Not sure Quest side is affected too.

This happens to me, sub 40 fps until I open my social list and intense frame drops / freezing when scrolling through lists like worlds and social. After closing my menu it shoots up to 90 FPS. Basically any time I open the menu I drop to 40 fps from the 90 that I had.
