[1243] Haptics on Oculus gone

All controller haptics gone on oculus controllers in build 1243 including buttons in worlds, pickups, UI and avatar haptics. UI, Pickup and Avatar haptics are enabled in Settings. Was working in previous build and also works on live.
Using Rift CV1 and SteamVR version of VRChat.

Avatar Touch Haptic Feedback has been broken for me for several weeks now. It was working fine for a while, but randomly stopped working entirely one day and has not returned. I've adjusted every related setting to no avail.

Ui, interaction and avatar haptics don't work at all, pulling trigger or grip button does do a slight vibration as it always has.
all avatar dynamics work as they should

The haptics were originally working on the ui 2.0 beta and even the avatar haptics were working up until the beta update that added the option to change haptic strength that's when haptics completely broke and have remained broken ever since.

Haptics was working fine in previous Live build and in beta builds up to 1241. Haptics stopped working starting from build 1243.
Sensitivity and haptic strength on max. Both 100%

UI, Interaction, Pickups and Avatar haptics not working at all.
Avatar Dynamics systems still work including Contacts, Receivers, PhysBone interaction.
Using Oculus Rift CV1.
Using original Oculus Touch controllers.
Playing VRChat on PC via SteamVR.
HMD connected to PC via HDMI and USB3.

BakaMitai: Do you still get the little vibration when pulling triggers or grip buttons? I'm wondering if that's what is being mistaken for the UI, Interaction, Pickups and Avatar haptics working during internal testing.

Ѕquishy: Yes, very slight. But I getting this kind of vibration even without loading any games with only SteamVR running. This is native SteamVR haptics on trigger pull.

No haptics from VRChat at all, no avatar, no menu, no udon. SteamVR overlay and trigger pull haptics still work fine so its not the headset.
Avatar Dynamics appear to be working fine.

Standard oculus link via the oculus desktop app. Running SteamVR.
I have also tested the same setup via ALVR (same cable, everything) and haptics work there, so it must be related to oculus desktop somehow.

Having the same issue, haptics work in SteamVR and other games
but not in VRChat.
Avatar touch haptics were working in open beta but stopped working after it's settings got moved to main menu.

UI, Interaction and Avatar haptics have all returned and are working correctly.

Same for me, Quest 1 over oculus link, usb 2.0 cable, running through SteamVR. Works fine over ALVR/VirtualDesktop, but not over official oculus link.
No haptics whatsoever from VRC except those generated by SteamVR itself (steamvr trigger pulls, steamvr menu, etc). No menu haptics, no udon haptics, no avatar haptics.

Same for me: build 1245, Quest 1, Oculus Link over usb 2.0 cable, running in SteamVR. Haptics were working in older betas, stopped working after an update.

This has happened to me twice now on a CV1 and it started with haptics getting really weak. Gonna try to see if I can reproduce the problem tomorrow.

Ok after further testing I have no haptics at all for pickups, avatars or ui. Probably didn't notice before. I tested every setting related and restarted multiple times. I also tested the haptics with an udon script and could feel extremely weak haptics on my right controller.

Using a CV1 and SteamVR, we were able to test using 1243. We were unable to reproduce the problem.
Haptics are all working correctly. Haptics aren't weaker or missing.
Can you retest and provide more info if possible?

I tested both Rift CV1 and Quest 1 via Quest Link cable.
Both Oculus native and SteamVR VRChat builds.
Haptics strength for Rift CV1 and Quest was about same for all test cases. Haptics on Oculus live build was a bit stronger compared to SteamVR live build.
Results:
Oculus native Live - haptics present.
Oculus native Beta - haptics very weak.
SteamVR Live - haptics present, a bit weaker than Oculus native Live build.
SteamVR Beta - haptics completely missing.

Tupper - VRChat Head of Community: The UI, pickup and avatar haptics all don't work at all. the only vibration is when you pull trigger or grip. all haptics work perfect when swapping back to live. rift cv1 and steamvr UPDATE I tested with my HTC vive and all haptics worked great on vive.

Tupper - VRChat Head of Community: I'm having this same issue, and I use a Rift S. I can confirm that this is what's happening to me too, where the beta seems to disable it completely when launched through SteamVR. I haven't tried the Oculus builds yet, but the SteamVR statements line up very well with my experience.

I am having similar on latest beta, the haptics are still there but are very weak compared to previous betas and live. I am also using CV1 controllers on steamvr.

I just tested further and only haptic feedback on beta is when you pull trigger or grip all other haptics are completely gone. All haptics work great with my Vive and Vive wands.
