with the latest update, we're finding that videos that have had no previous issues are now not syncing properly with audio. Currently i have 5 separate reports of this.

RedSpeeds: This issue was not marked as "Under Review" until it was under internal review. There were several updates below when people asked if there was any changes/updates regarding this issue, to which I said "No, not yet".
When the status changed, I changed this item immediately.

Oh yeah, I used a world with your prefab in. By the end of a 30 minute video, the desync is usually roughly 6 seconds. It's actually really jarring.
Though, when I tried pausing, the audio would not resync and it would simply break for the others watching it. A bit odd.

Everything is practically unwatchable in the alpha world because the sound is like a few seconds off in some cases.

I too have had issues on this. Its a pain in having to Pause and rewind 20 seconds every few minuetes due to desync.

Is there a world and video link you can provide that reliably reproduces sync issues? The only thing we did with the latest update was update the back-end, so its possible that there is a new bug with the latest library.

You can go on the "Movie Room" and select any content to play and it will have some desync problem after some moment

Tupper - VRChat Head of Community: If you go into Root's Alpha world, you can recreate the issue doing what I've been doing EVERY time for the past few weeks. Select "TVShows" > "Comedy" > "The Office". I'm currently at Season 3, but you can select any episode. It starts off ok, but in about 3-10 minutes it's off. I have to pause the stream, reset the progress bar to a time a few seconds before where I paused, and then press play to re-sync. Give it another few minutes and repeat. If you just pause and play, it solves nothing. Hope this helps. I though this was just a content issue and never reported it to Root. My bad. :(

Tupper - VRChat Head of Community: it’s any video on pretty much any world. Any time the game desyncs/lags/loads new player the audio gets further off from the video and has to be paused time rolled back and replayed as mentioned above.

A friend a mine told me that maybe a temporary fix could be to rollback the AVPro thing to the previous update
