Pi (from the VRChat team) said in the open beta channel on VRChat discord this is being worked on, so this is mainly so other people do not make this canny again and so we see how many people on Canny think this is a good idea lol

In AVM, various tags can be assigned to avatar items, and while tag buttons can be pressed from the detail screen, currently they only produce a sound and do nothing.
If selecting a tag filters and displays only avatars that include that tag, it will improve searchability.
