SDK 3.10.3 was released on April 16, 2026, but there was no associated documentation about how many VRC Raycast components can be used on an avatar.
I did some personal testing with avatar SDK 3.10.3 in Unity Editor to find out.
Windows limits (maximum):
  • Excellent: 1 (Windows)
  • Good: 4 (Windows)
  • Medium: 8 (Windows)
  • Poor: 15 (Windows, sic!)
Mobile limits (maximum):
  • Excellent: 1 (Mobile)
  • Good: 2 (Mobile)
  • Medium: 4 (Mobile)
  • Poor: 8 (Mobile)
Recommended: 1, for all platforms. The absolute max limit in the SDK 3.10.3 is 80 (VRCRaycast + FinalIK) on all platforms.
