I would love to see a touch trigger component in VRChat for avatars, For example, you have a pointer component on your finger and by putting it inside a specific area (Inside a Touch trigger) it for example sets an animationInt or does some other cool stuff like toggling a gameobject on/off, the possibilities would be endless, please make it happen <3

Since I made good use of sub animator parameter drivers to make interesting (and useful) animations - notably my dodging game and an in-game keyboard. These animations primarily used movement to activate a parameter driver.
It would be great if there was a replacement for this. I need a way to detect movements (or button presses on an external menu) to change a parameter.

KillFrenzy: As a mute this keyboard has literally changed the way I can express myself and interact with others in this game. The lack of this feature now is honestly pretty shocking to myself and other mutes who found their lives improved by this keyboard. I hope a replacement is added.

KillFrenzy: Adding to the sentiment of being mute and how massive a thing that keyboard was to me, had it on all of my recent avatars and it was such a major lifeline to communicating with people effectively.
Genuinely devastated with it not being available now and hope there can be a way of it coming back.

After the breaking of sub animator parameter drivers that occurred recently, this feature jumps from a nice opportunity for support, to a necessary function of puppeteering avatars. The Menu is helpful, but it's far more easy to physically move and touch things on your avatar to convey the different animations. We were able to work around not having a touch component with stop-action particle drivers, but now that that's gone, a replacement is needed. Honestly, multiple features that allow an accessible way to drive parameters outside of the action menu would be lovely, but this ranks around the most important one in my opinion.
