Can Chinese Mainland ID cards be age verified?

Theoretically, Persona supports Chinese Mainland ID cards (roblox ✓). But I found online that someone spread the message 'VRChat's Persona does not support Chinese ID cards'. I want to get a relatively accurate answer. Thank you.

people also say that ID is the only valid document they accept but i was able to just use a german drivers licence.
so the full list of valid documents is probaply any goverment issued photo identifiable document that persona supports.

There should be no problem that there is no Chinese Mainland. The authentication API of Paerson should be the same. If Roblox has it, VRChat should also be able to(应该不存在没有中国大陆地区的问题，Paerson的验证API应该都是通用的，如果Roblox有的话VRChat也会有)
