Would it be possible to make asking for Date of Birth to be a bannable offense? The Age Verification system exists and asking for DoB can be considered PII as many institutions such as bank and medical will sometimes ask for DoB for positive ID verification process. Besides, there is no way to verify if someone is 18+ just by verbal confirmation so it still allows minors in.
And the only people asking for DoB are virtual bouncers who are power tripping. There is no reason to comply with such unreasonable demands by unreasonable users or kicked from public worlds. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Age verification only exists for people who pay for vrc+ and even if it was available for everyone, making it bannable doesn’t address any issues. I feel like that would create more problems than anything else. I can’t imagine getting banned for asking someone their age, that’s easily a way to make vrc an empty space, since everyone would be banned.

I skip those instances now. I don't want to age verify in their Discord servers just to gain access to virtually drink. I'm reporting the groups who want verification on their Discord to gain access to bars. I did a few age checks before age verified, and read bios and took them for their word.
