VRChat 2026.4.1 release notes: Unexpected discontinuities in unordered lists
WubTheCaptain
A minor accessibility annoyance. The page reads "list, [n] items" three times for release notes due to list discontinuities, which seem to be unintended.
Expressed in Markdown:
- "Filter Extreme Horror" is no longer cut off at the bottom of the Comfort and Safety settings.
- The "typing" indicator is once again visible in red for users who's full chatbox you have hidden.
- The HUD Face Mirror should no longer appear as a black square on the loading screen.
This causes the two lists above to become separated and discontinued from each other, forming two
<ul>
elements in HTML output. This can disrupt a non-visual reader with navigation or interrupt reading the release notes with reading out "list, [n] items" repeatedly.I expected there should be no newline in between, and there to be one unordered list
<ul>
element on the page.In Markdown, the above is expected to be:
- "Filter Extreme Horror" is no longer cut off at the bottom of the Comfort and Safety settings.
- The "typing" indicator is once again visible in red for users who's full chatbox you have hidden.
- The HUD Face Mirror should no longer appear as a black square on the loading screen.
It also occurs right before:
- Fixed an issue that prevented the "Customize Action Menu" page to open for looks when associated data didn't properly load.
