As the title suggests, when you open a friend on the website, the Unfriend button is prominently displayed, and the moment you press it by mistake, the friend is deleted without any confirmation screen.

I think this will develop into a major community problem.

At the very least, there should be a confirmation screen after clicking.

while using the website on the phone, as I was looking at a friend’s profile, I attempted to scroll down and it clicked unfriend, there is no “are you sure” button and it just straight up unfriended them, now I am unable to even tell when they get back on, or when they was last on, until they add me back and I just hope they don’t take it the wrong way though with their current irl situations its hard to tell if at times they may ever come back on at all, so using the website for me was the only way to know since vrchat is the only form of communication I have with said person due to various reasons

Plus the button takes up a large portion of the screen too making it difficult to sometimes avoid pressing if your not being extra careful or maybe not paying enough attention, should probably make it a "confirm action" button pop up afterwards or move it to a less easy to hit place/shrink it, as even if said friend is on your favorites it will remove then without a second thought

When you press the unfriend button on the web, it immediately removes the friend, so I accidentally unfriended someone important. Then I had to send them a friend request again.

Also, if you don't realize you accidentally unfriended someone, you might mistakenly think they unfriended you.

So please add a confirmation prompt asking if you really want to unfriend them when you press the unfriend button!!
