For months now this number has been slowly but stubbornly going up despite repeated checks..

My number went up after accepting the free profile customization options that were added in Release 2026.3.1, so that's another thing that will need to become accessible from the website (in addition to avatar accessories) before this issue is fully fixed.

Only slightly related, but I still think that the avatar accessories should be shown in the inventory too, just so all owned dothats are shown in a central location. Then if you click on one of the avatar accessories there, just move the user to the Avatar -> Accessories menu.

This is also happening with me having it permanently at 6 notifs. At one point it was 10, but I went through my inventory on the website and clicked any item with the "New!" tag to it and that counted it down back to 6. These were all new stickers, emotes, and items, though, accessories.

Having a tab for avatar accessories on the website would probably fix this, as then you can click the "New!" accessories to make the notif go away.

If everyone comes to assume it never goes away. They become blind to the purpose behind it (engagement.)

Same thing has been happening for me for a while. It's been a minor annoyance, but my compulsive ass hates it

At some point my 3 ping went up to 6 and im not sure why, super weird, wish we could get rid of it though
