Root Motion rotation in animations applied 2x locally

My AFK animation rotates the avatar root to spin in a circle.
It spins twice as much using the Beta IK, works as expected in Legacy.

I fixed this issue by
properly
baking the rotation in Blender instead of animating the root of the avatar in Unity. Exported my animation from Unity to Blender using UMotion Pro and parented my armature to an empty object that spun so that I could use Bake Action to easily animate the spin.
Seems that before IK Beta, you could animate the avatars root and rotate it, which feels like a bug that I accidentally relied on.

Adeon Writer: I don’t think so, because it seems to be my animation specifically. Not really sure how to fix or why it broke.
