It seems like the Steam Audio Open Beta is not working like live when you change the audio for players away from default. We changed them to the following:
public float BoostGain = 6.0f;
public float BoostFar = 35.0f;
public float BoostNear = 17.0f;
public float BoostVolume = 3.0f;
And the boost doesn't happen in the same volume or falloff as Live. I changed to the normal Open beta and live builds to test with the same instance open and they sounded normal, but the Steam Audio did not. Tested in 2 different worlds and had the same problem. Was only able to test on PC.
