[1648] Significant volume differences with VRC Spatial Audio Sources on Steam Audio vs Live
needs more information

Based on my testing in 2 different worlds, I have ran into a very annoying issue. It seems when adding VRC spatial audio source components onto video player audio sources, it results in giant differences in volume on Steam Audio beta vs Live. Adding the component makes it way quieter on Steam Audio but way louder on Live. Adjusting the gain on the VRC spatial audio source component to make the Steam Audio branch a reasonable volume make Live clients unbearably loud. Vice versa, adjusting the level to make the Live branch sound good makes Steam Audio almost un-hearable, unless you turn the video player volume all the way up. I've experimented with different settings, and it seems it only impacts 3D audio sources.

Is this issue still occurring?

StormRel I believe so. Let me go back and re-add the components back and I'll test to confirm.

I added the vrc spatial audio source components onto the video player speakers and made sure to set the Gain setting on the source to 0. This time I'm noticing the opposite. Live is quieter than Steam Audio branch. Again, this is standing in the same exact spot, same exact audio track, comparing on both Live and Steam Audio branch versions.

i actually really appreciate the added headroom of the steam audio beta, it sounds much nicer to my ears
