Avatar scaling is a great feature and taking world creators into notice is very nice but there are some improvements to be made, here are a few ideas:
1- Setting a scale is saved to the world it was set in, in this way changing worlds it feels off having to set your preffered scale all over again every time (assuming the worlds have scaling enabled).
-> If you set a different scale you should keep it when changing worlds, so you only have to adjust if needed (in worlds with scaling).
2- Worlds scale enable/disable.
-> avatar scale should be enabled by default on all maps as a lot of older maps probabily will not be updated.
-> world creators should have more options rather than just enabling/disabling scaling. Being able to set a min/max scale or forcing the avatars into specific scale groups could be an option.
Scale groups could be:
small - common size of smaller avatars
normal - default avatar size
big - common size of bigger avatars
-> Giving the option to set any of the above for specific instance types.
3- scaling options for instance types (Assuming it's possible to be set by the world creator).
-> Public instances should generally be harsh with scaling options (ideally forcing the avatar into it's default scale) as giving too much freedom with this could result in unwanted outcome.
-> Any type of private instances could be granted more freedom as people are less likely to be disturbed by this.
These are just some of my ideas, feel free to give some feedback on this! :3
