[1236] Give world creators tools to showcase their hard work on their profile.

Old user profile's had a chunk of it dedicated to the world list. On the new profile, worlds are not even visible at first glance, and are smaller. Not only that, world creators cannot sort their published worlds by most popular, or however they want.
So a creators best creation could be HIDDEN behind a sub menu. Please give world creators tools to showcase all the work they put into the game on their profile and something to be proud of. And allow them to organize their visible world list with more options.
World creators build the very foundation of this game and bring players, This makes world creation feel like an extra thing/after thought.

It doesn't make sense to have the language, links, and badges tab that big, to where it takes up almost half the space of your own bio. Why does my profile show off that I have a little cat badge instead of the 50+ worlds I have created on this platform? I think that we should have our Profile show off worlds that we have created so when people click on your profile, it shows all the worlds you worked really hard on. People are too lazy to scroll down to check if creators have made worlds, I know this because I am too lazy to scroll down to see if people have made worlds, because the scroll wheel is a little small and hard to aim and point at to drag down. I love the direction the UI is going but the Social Tab needs to showcase Creators More. Creators are everything on this platform, we need to showcase what they made at first glance on the UI.

Air In: Not to mention that every user now has their favorite worlds list visible as public lists by default, which are almost indistinguishable from the uploaded worlds list, even I have mistaken someone's created worlds for just another random world playlist, multiple times.

Merging some tasks into here as we'll like to track a couple of changes to the Profile page like making better use of the space and improving balance between action buttons, user details and user creations.

White Lotuz: I think you should edit the title as well.
This title does not approach those who want to improve the usability of the new main menu action menu.

White Lotuz: My post about the UI being cluttered is not associated with world creators, why wat it merged here?

[1238]Allow world creators to order worlds visible on public profile
Fionna
Right now on a user's public profile, 9 worlds are shown and a +XX button. Allow world creators to choose which worlds are shown and the order.

[1238]Change profile page layout to make worlds more discoverable
Fionna
Currently the profile page is awkwardly laid out--the action buttons are cut off, and a user's worlds are buried below the scroll.
Suggestion to minimize/move the Languages/Links/Badges "below the fold" and move uploaded worlds up to the "front page".

Overall the UI, old and new, are visually cluttered and unaccommodating.

Interface design psychology has a pretty heavily studied field of research. There are many techniques for reducing visual clutter and helping guide the eye through a UI or other interactive environment, which aids the user in operating it.
One of the key methods includes emphasizing most commonly used or most important functions. Emphasis can be done with positional separation, spacing around, size, colour accent, and so on.
Most options in the new menu all look the same, much as they did in the old one. Granted this eases development, so emphasizing elements on spacing and placement is more difficult, the alternative would be to use colour coding, or making elements have more size.
Readability helps a lot. While it is readable, it could and should be MORE readable. And when i say more readable, i mean different elements should have varying visibility.
A UI full of one monochromatic colour (especially a muted one like the dim turquoise), a slightly brighter of that colour, greys and white text all the same, it quickly becomes very difficult for your eye to know where it's supposed to look. This makes operating it slower and slightly more frustrating.
Examples of important elements to emphasize or clean:
* join & invite friend buttons need to stand out more or moved to more prominent position
* create new instance of world and add favourite needs to be separated from less important actions like make home and report
* sidebar buttons need bigger or more visually simple icons
* less blotchy grey filling of elements
* add some spaces between contextually grouped elements - like friend favourite groups should be spaced from in-room and spaced from online. new and community labs worlds should be together and spaced from the spotlights above and the categories below
* bottom tabs could use some grouping/spacing logic as well
I could go on and on about small changes that would make the UI more comfortable to use, but these are just some.

Frankly, I think it would be better to completely rebuild this layout from scratch. Unnecessary information is taking up unnecessary space, and the UI that is really necessary is pushed to the back. (And it leads to misoperation).

With the discord, other users have offered additional suggestions. (This would be for users in private worlds, as there is no join option)

I colored and rearranged the menu. (I hope someone can provide a better example of an instance menu)
Just coloring it makes it much more understandable.

I think this example of implementation is minimal and needs to be rearranged to take more into account human perceptual abilities and psychological guidance.

ni1chigo2115: this 100%. I swear every time I look at the new menu my brain takes like 5 seconds to decode exactly what I want to do. Sure it will get better the more time that I spend with the menu, but I’ve almost unfriended like 3 people this week.
As it is currently it is cluttered and unintuitive. I also feel like the icons in general are due for an overhaul. Take a look at the bottom tabs and you will get what I mean. Three of them are “people” shaped but all have vastly different uses, two are space themed one for no real reason, the search button doesn’t make much sense when you are normally gonna search in the worlds/avatars tab. The only icons that have differentiation are notifications, settings, safety and VRC+. Over half the buttons can be easily confused with other buttons. I frequently click on the social menu rather than avatar change menu because they look the same to someone not paying attention.
