See screenshot.
In my case, I only used the app for around 5 minutes, then I closed it, the app still continued draining the battery.

The graph shows 23 hours into the past, and you didn't say when you opened or closed the app. You only had the app open for 5 minutes in the past 23 hours?
What did you do on the app in those 5 minutes? Scroll your friend list and notifications? Or did you actually join a world/instance for a few minutes?

Deantwo After I noticed that the app was draining my phone's battery, I decided to charge my phone at 100%, opened the app just for a minute (basically just to make sure the app runs at least once), then closed it again, and also close it from the overview screen. Once my phone reached 38%, I took the above screenshot.
So after closing the app, the app keeps running in the background, which makes sense since we can still get VRC notifications even if the app is closed, but 30% battery usage seems excessive.

When you say the app is not open, do you have it running in the background? Is the app fully closed out?
MyroP
StormRel By closed, I meant that the app does not show up in the overview screen.

StormRel Hello,
I recently got a new phone that runs on Android 14, Sony Xperia I VI.
On my new device, the issue doesn't happen, the app doesn't drain any battery when closed (less than 1%, based on the "battery usage" page).
So I only had that issue on my Asus phone, that ran on Android 11.

StormRel mine is the Samsung Galaxy S10+, Android 12
I temporarily put the app to Deep Sleep which fixes the issue but breaks any background tasks since the OS forces the app to stop if I don't have it open.
