Desperately need a very poor allowance on mobile

Even if it is default off, 90% of the reason most people that already play on PC like myself will likely end up using the mobile version is to test quest content. some setups are literally impossible to do without being pushed into the very poor bracket on quest even if they functionally dont have a big real-world performance impact. I understand why this would be disabled, but can we atleast get some way to turn this back on so it matches feature parity when it comes to rendering on quest?

It is ridiculuous that selfie expressions are available for mobile, and we still can't use very poor avatars on mobile. Shared it with these friends. All we see is the fallbacks of our own avatars.

I got an answer my question about us as a user being able to use a very poor avatar on vrc mobile during the VRChat stream on Friday. Tupper did say due to performance, they aren't allowing it. But they did receive poor feedback about the app, and will re-evaulate the platform. It was on Twitch. Sadge.

kyiscray I did see mention of 25 mb uncompressed limit for mobile on the August 14th announcemenet on the vrchat discord. But every update, only fallbacks for very poor.

About one year later, we are still asking for Android mobile users to see, user, and wear their own very poor avatars. Everyone else in fallback is ok. The system has become more stable, and the re-introduction of very poor avatars for the user only. Set up a prompt with a warning, and Ok or Understood, and have the avatar displayed. Add to your Terms of Service, that VRChat is not responsible for damage to the users' device(s). This will help develop for the Quest standalone for those who do not have Android headset.

DragonTamerWes YES, if a quest 2 with 2020 hardware can run very poor avatars, 2024 200$ phones have much more graphic power and vrc mobile is much more easy to run than in a quest 2 standalone

RF_GAMER I was using an Samsung Galaxy A52 at the time when very poor avatar was being used for only the user. I have upgraded to an S23 FE model, and runs just as smooth. People who never play it say the phones will blow up, but the early Alpha testers know it can work.

DragonTamerWes I wasnt an alpha tester but ik it would even work on an 2018 galaxy s9 with its adreno in it. About 6th months later since the beta and the devs dont listen to the community with this forum post getting 200 upvotes and the devs neglect it. as even furality was the worst experience on mobile as I got alot of pity and I saw why that pity was given. the devs need to listen to the mobile community as they know how mobile android works than most

Zykoth Been on ChillOutVR fairly recently. Even they have more freedom to create while weeding out crashers. Though it's PC only. I'm disliking some of the Discord chat calling others too lazy to optimize. ChillOut doesn't have the ranking system though.

Hello my dears, I would like to say that you should make some big changes in this mobile version. To begin with, the game could have a function to move your hands like in the quest, for example in Recroom Mobile you can make movements with your hands, wave, etc. Another important thing is to allow the use of very poor avatars. Theres been no word on this and its highly requested to return in the beta lime it was in the alpha. I wonder why the devs ignore this thread?

DragonTamerWes its sad because I had the option to upgrade my snapdragon to a 5th gen when I was ordering my s20+ and the option to have 8 more gigs of ram in a secondary ram storage and I cant see or select a very poor avi.

I would like to see a prompt with a warning that very poor is about to be use. Or an optimization slider to get the avatar to poor (least preferred), or sign a waiver that vrchat isn't responsible for damage to your phone.

We need the option to be able to allow very poor avatars, when the standards are set so high for mobile it makes it very hard to find an avatar that you can actually see. Higher end phones are able to handle these avatars just fine in smaller worlds and it's extremely hard to find/create avatars that fit above the very poor requirements for android.
