As you can see nowadays, with most games unable to prevent their models from being ripped by ripper, we seem to be helpless. However, I have thought about why we don’t have a system similar to the shield feature that currently allows you to unlock avatars of players who own fixed ranks in VRChat. It would be fantastic if those without permission can only see the fallback avatar. This would be very convenient as we would no longer have to fear ripper stealing our private avatars. Of course, we could also control and filter friends to make it harder for imposters to steal avatars. Many of us no longer feel safe in public instances and would feel more comfortable if this feature were considered and implemented. The root of the issue is that ripper can easily load your avatar, so let's create a feature to filter them out. If this is approved, there will certainly be many who disagree, but ultimately, this is a way to protect the community’s interests.
