Toggle the noise from the camera
tracked

I would like to see a toggle to the noise added on the in game camera when depth of field is activated.
I understand the noise is to be used as a sort of dithering to break up banding and help with compression artifacts. But I record using lossless and I usually add my own film grain in post to do that.
It just degrades the quality of videos and requires unnecessary denoising in my video editing software (which takes a lot of render time, denoising is not an easy task in Davinci Resolve to render)

[Feature Request] Film Grain Removal

Honestly, they need to either remove or give the option to remove/set the amount of film grain in photos. I like using the Focus setting on the camera but the amount of it in the picture bugs me.

Agreed. It would be nice if we could toggle it off. Heck, even trying to upload these for comparison, my 4K photo was 12 MB with the noise, versus 4 MB normally.

Agreed. It is ridiculous how much there is and how negatively it affects video recordings as well.
I understand it's necessary to reduce artifacts on the DoF shader, but it would be great if we could toggle it. It could be like the Near Clip feature, where it could reset when the user closes the camera.
Here's a visual comparison of No AF vs S-AF. It's ridiculous. It's worse than my Nikon D3200 on high ISO in the dark.

Adding zoomed-in comparison on a grey bg.

This is very important for video recording due to two things:
1) A pattern of the noise is static and the same across multiple frames. That's not how the real film grain behaves and it is hard to remove even in post production using denoising tools.
2) We don't have any aperture control, so most of recordings in darker worlds are unusable when you try to brighten them up in post production.

Hi there! I moved your request into the 'Feature Requests' category, as it's unrelated to the VRChat Creator Companion.
Thank you for your feedback.
