I've been using VRChat Mobile with an external microphone by connecting my smartphone to an audio interface via OTG. It had been working perfectly for a long time.
However, for the past few days, I haven't been able to use it anymore.
There is no audio input or output at all.
Whenever I connect the OTG audio interface and launch VRChat Mobile, the app sometimes crashes while loading into a world.
I do manage to enter a world, but my avatar and other players' avatars behave strangely—they become stiff, animations stop working properly, and I can't even walk.
And yes, there's no audio input and output AT ALL.
The app runs normally when I'm not using the audio interface.
Performance is smooth, and I don't experience any of these issues without it.
My phone settings are still exactly the same as before. I haven't changed any audio, USB, or OTG-related settings.
Device: Samsung Galaxy A54
Operating System: Android 16 (One UI 8.5, latest update)
Connection: OTG + external USB audio interface
Reproduction Steps:
  1. Connect an external USB audio interface to the phone using an OTG adapter.
  2. Launch VRChat Mobile.
  3. Log in and join any world.
  4. The app crashes while loading into the world, or if it loads successfully, there is no audio input/output, avatars become stiff, and I can't even walk.
I have already tried resetting the VRChat settings, cache, etc, and also resetting my smartphone. Unfortunately, the issue still persists with the exact same behavior.
The same audio interface still works normally with other apps, so the issue appears to be specific to VRChat Mobile.
