Knees too prone to open when laying on the side
FremBrulée
So, IK2 has been amazing for the most part but my biggest pet peeve so far and the only reason I cannot switch over permanently is the legs.
I lay down a lot in VR and whenever I'm on the side with my knees together, the knees will never connect no matter how hard I try so it just leads to me awkwardly having my legs spread open at all times.
From what I gather it is happening because the legs are not human proportionate. It's just frustrating since Legacy leg tracking never had this issue for me
Edit:
After trying again in the iterated Measure-by-arms in IK2 it seems to work better, but still not very natural. In measure-by-height I found it impossible to close them but with arm measure I can at least clench them together, though it isn't really a solution.
It just seems like the legs are fighting to not stay together.
First is Legacy, Second is IK2 and I am using 6point tracking

Please try this again in build 11944. The IKPose will now affect the knee bending direction.

Tried it out right now and it actually seems to work really well. Similar to legacy but better!
Thank you Kung!!
Will update if anything is off!

Kung: Knee behavior seems better in the current build, thanks!

[11702] New IK seems more biased to opening the knees

I noticed in the beta IK that the knees feel more prone to movement when you twist your feet than before (in 6-pt). This results in awkwardly opening my legs when sitting down, as shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ivs3D0CBxgY

IK beta seems much more prone to moving the knee then legacy when the ankle moves when crosslegged. This did also occur in prior builds.

I've noticed this as well. It's not a problem on any avatar in the legacy IK, but it happens on every avatar in IK2 and it is a huge disparity between my irl and avatar bodies.
