Currently, only the last used instance name is remembered and set as the default.
However, when we give an instance a special name—for example, to celebrate someone’s birthday—we usually don’t want to reuse that name. Such events don't repeat.
On the other hand, there are cases where we
do
want to reuse certain names, such as for recurring events like weekly meetings or “class names” for academy-style events. Still, even in those cases, we may create instances for other use cases in between repeated instances.
To address both scenarios, I suggest remembering several recent instance names and letting users choose from them when creating a new instance—similar to how status presets work. This could serve as an alternative to, or complement for, the current “reuse the last name” behavior.
