I've had event hosts quit being event hosts because it's annoying them when they arnt hosting events and they're trying to relax in their own vr adventures.
I know they will just tell me "to make a canny", so here it is :p

They fill up my notifications on some nights and my group has procedures to vet through Discord. Most times people just can't read, there's no way to message them, no way to go "Hey we have a age requirement and or you need to do X" . Yet whenever a Featured event is in the Calender the requests come in like crazy and I just want to enjoy the game and event I'm at, turn of the notifications for a bit, and turn then on later. I just want some privacy.

Specifically the notifications for them. Everyone has to be verified by us to join our group so the on the spot notification does nothing but cause annoyance. We could just make the group Closed but then people would assume we aren't taking joiners and we'd have more trouble adding the people who do read instructions.
